“You don’t realize the value of a photo until that is all you have left of a loved one.”
-SCARLETT LILLIAN
With a degree in Magazine Journalism from the University of Florida, Scarlett Lillian spent a decade traveling the world shooting destination luxury weddings, first on her own, and then with her husband, Stephen, who she met while teaching at an international photography conference. Now as a mom, Scarlett Lillian stays local to her home in Northeast Florida taking on commissions as a natural light portrait artist. What started with documenting two people falling in love through their wedding day, has expanded into families who have grown up in front of her camera throughout the years, and she has always enjoyed when clients turn to friends who are like family.
Scarlett Lillian’s award-winning photography work and journalism writing has been featured in The New York Times, Teen People, Grace Ormonde’s Wedding Style, The Knot, Southern Weddings, and on TLC and ABC’s 20/20. Scarlett Lillian is also the published author of “The Ugly Cry: Hope For When Your Faith is Barren.”
